India’s men’s volleyball team has been drawn in Group C alongside Qatar, Vietnam, and Hong Kong China for the Asian Games 2026.
A top finish in the group could take India to its first Asian Games semi-final since 1986. And this time, it looks possible!
The Asian Games 2026 will be held in Aichi–Nagoya, Japan, with the men’s volleyball competition scheduled from 27 September to 3 October 2026.
Team India has been in excellent form. At the AVC Men’s Volleyball Cup 2026, India created history by winning its first-ever bronze medal. The team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, with their only defeat coming in the semi-finals.
Now, fans are hoping India can top the group, reach the semi-finals, and win another historic medal at the Asian Games. If that happens, it could mark the beginning of a golden era for Indian volleyball.
