India has named a strong 14-member boxing squad for the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, led by Olympic medallist Lovlina Borgohain.
The women’s team features Lovlina alongside Jaismine Lamboria, Preeti Pawar, Priya Ghanghas, Sakshi Chaudhary, Arundhati Choudhary, and Parveen Hooda, giving India multiple medal contenders across weight categories.
In the men’s division, Sachin Siwach, Sumit Kundu, Ankush, Narender Berwal, Jadumani Singh, Kapil Pokhariya, and Aditya Pratap Singh will look to strengthen India’s medal prospects.
India won seven medals (3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze) in boxing at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. With a full-strength squad returning to the competition, the team will be aiming to surpass that tally and produce one of India’s strongest-ever boxing campaigns at the Commonwealth Games.
