CBSE Games 2026–27 Cluster Schedule Released: Registration Reopened, Last Date, Competition Dates

After weeks of anticipation, CBSE has finally released the official Sports Schedule for the CBSE Games 2026–27. The CBSE Sports Portal has also been reopened for registrations, giving schools another opportunity to register eligible athletes.

If you’re planning to represent your school in the CBSE Games this year, here’s everything you need to know, including the registration deadline, competition dates, and other important updates.

The CBSE Sports Portal is now live, and the registration process has reopened. This time, the last date has been set as 14 July 2026.

If your school hasn’t completed registration yet, don’t wait. Speak to your PET, Sports Teacher, or School Administration and get the process completed as soon as possible.

One important thing to understand here — registration alone isn’t enough. Along with registering, you also need to complete the “Apply to Participate” step. If this step is missed, participation won’t be possible even if registration is done. So instead of waiting until the last moment, make sure both steps are completed in time.

CBSE Games 2026–27 Competitions Begin on 15 July

According to the official CBSE circular, the CBSE Games 2026–27 competitions will begin from 15 July 2026.

CBSE has also released the complete competition schedule covering different sports and age categories, allowing schools and athletes to prepare well in advance.

Sports Included in the Official Schedule

The newly released schedule covers a wide range of sports, including:

  • Athletics
  • Football
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Kabaddi
  • Badminton
  • Chess
  • Kho-Kho
  • Wrestling
  • And many other sports disciplines

Athletes can now check the dates and venues for their respective events and plan their training, travel, and competition schedule accordingly.

What You Should Do Now

  1. Contact your PET or School Administration right away if registration hasn’t been completed yet.
  2. Make sure the “Apply to Participate” step is completed along with registration.
  3. Check your sport’s schedule and start planning your practice.
  4. Don’t wait for the last date (14 July) — complete the process as early as possible.
