6th U.P. State U-23 Athletics Championship 2026 is going to start, and young athletes get the chance to show their talent this season and make their PB and season best, which can help them for the next competition.
This U-23 Championship, organised by the U.P. Athletics Association, will also serve as a selection trial for the Senior Open National Athletics Championships 2026, scheduled to be held in Delhi this October. So U-23 athletes performing well here can also get a shot at making it to Nationals, not just the seniors.
The championship will be held on 26th–27th September 2026 at Bareilly.
Athletes who want to take part need to register before the deadline the last date for registration is 21st September 2026. With the date approaching fast, it’s better to complete the entry early instead of leaving it for the last moment.
A few general points to keep in mind:
- AFI UID number ready is usually compulsory to take part.
- Bib numbers are usually given out just a day or two before the event, not earlier.
This is a great opportunity for U-23 athletes from U.P. to compete against good talent, push for their personal best, and build a strong case for selection to the Delhi Nationals in October.
